Here's the 411:
I go to Miami a week from tomorrow (for/with Lane Bryant) I'm excited, but nervous as all hell.
On August 27th I got to meet

And yes, the lead singer does happen to be Jared Leto. (aka awesome actor in films/shows such as My So-Called Life and Requiem For A Dream) It was a concert that The Used happened to be head lineing but I didn't care about them. Just 30stm. I got to shake their hands and thank them for making such beautiful music. They all signed my shirt and it was amazing.
There is a new addition to our family. His name is Kitten Samuel.

Sooo...I just got back from Galveston. You'd think that 2 days vacation wouldn't long enough but damn I'm really glad to be home. And now I have a whole week to realx and either A. Get some cleaning done, B. Do some art, C. Absolutley nothing or D. All of the above. Either way it's a much needed rest from 50 hour work weeks and my perky sales persona. /sigh
So anywhoo...I have pictures, don'cha know it? Wanna see? Of course you do. As usual, dial upers beware. Tons of pictures behinde the cut.

Wow. I'm tired. I just worked 11 and half hours, which may not sound like much to you desk people but for me, that's 11 hours straight on my feet the whole time, and when you throw in a bad ankle, the situation equals pain. And guess when my next day off is? Next Friday. /sob Ah well...at least it will be a pretty check. Oh, and....
WE GOT 10 CREDITS TODAY AND MADE PLAN. WOOOOOO One day down, 5 to go. I can do it. I know I can. Because damn it, I want to go to the new store.

Michael has an interview on Monday morning @ 9am for the ASM position at Gamestop. How excited am I? SOOOOO excited. It will be a pay increase and just think of the discount! OMG /faint
We're taking Rosie and Tillie to Hurricane Harbor on Sunday. I don't know what to think about that. I haven't been in a bathing suit since I was 10 years old. bleh But oh well. They have a pirate ship with water cannons so come on, what's not to like about that right?
Harry Potter midnight madness tomorrow night at Walden Books at Collin Creek Mall. Michael and I are soooo there.
And not to change the subject or anything but MY CAR SUCKS!

So it's 3:30, I just woke up and Lane Bryant couldn't be farther away from my mind. For 3 WHOLE DAYS I don't have to constantly worry and coach. With my position, even if I'm not at work it's like I'm at work because I have to makes calls up there to see how we're doing. "Are we making plan? How many credits do we have? What's our goal? What are you going to do to make sure we achieve that goal? What's our ADS and our UPT? What, that's horrible! You're not selling. Tell the girls they need to sell and get credits. Try harder. 150%...blah blah blah." But for 3 days I don't care. Ahhhhh....so nice.
And now I'm going to take a shower and clean a little. Firework stand adventures tonight I think. Hopefully getting to see Mel somewhere in there. I haven't seen that girl in WAY too long. Alright, I'm going. Peace. |

Let it be known that in this apartment, when you sleep, you sleep with boohbahs. All together now... "AWWWWWWW."
I have 3 days off in a row that started today. And after working 30 million days in a row guess what I did on my first day off? I slept until 4, got out of bed, made myself a bagel, got me a glass of Odwalla (YUM) and watched the lifetime movie network until Michael got home. Then I made him some dinner and we watched tv together. It's nice to be lazy sometimes. lol Tomorrow I need to clean the van out, clean the apartment and do some laundry. Then I'm going to make a second attempt at my food creation, pizza enchiladas. I made them the other night and they were alright, I just need to make a few adjustments. Then on the 4th Michael, my mom and dad and I are going to the rangers game. Yay! I haven't been to a baseball game in so long and fireworks. weeeee! I'm giddy. Ok, time to go giggle at Michael sleeping with boohbahs some more and see if anything interesting is on. OOOOHHHH maybe Cave Divers is on. I love that show.
